Billing Assistance
We accept all insurances including Medicare and Medicaid. Please bring your insurance cards with you so we can obtain all the necessary information for timely billing of your insurance. Southeastern Med is a member of most networks; however, your insurance company may require a higher deductible or co-insurance rate. Contact your insurance company to find out if Southeastern Med is in your network.
If you have current insurance coverage, our business office will submit your medical bill to your insurance company. Generally, it takes no longer than 30 days to complete insurance claim processing. Please contact your insurance company direct, if you have not heard from them within 30 days, or call our billing office at 740-439-8140, option 5.
Patients with balances owed resulting from being under insured or no insurance coverage may qualify for one of our financial assistance programs. These programs are designed to assist patients who qualify financially based on guidelines issued by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services to determine a person’s eligibility for care.
You will continue to receive bills until the qualification process has been completed and a determination has been made. Please feel free to ask our Resource Counselors for more information about these programs by calling 740-439-8140, option 4.
