This exciting and fast paced area has volunteers who greet the patients and their families. You are the liaison between the surgery staff and the family.

This is a wonderful area to work. The hours are 7:30 am to 2:00 pm and 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm. The hours can also be very flexible.

Surgery Waiting Room Duties

  • Liaison between surgery staff and family and friends of the patient

  • Assists and offers information about locations and services available in medical center

  • Provides comfort and makes coffee for the waiting family

  • Provides pagers for the family members while the patient is in surgery
