Surgery Waiting Room
This exciting and fast paced area has volunteers who greet the patients and their families. You are the liaison between the surgery staff and the family. This is a wonderful area to work. The hours are 7:30 am to 2:00 pm and 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm. The hours can also be very flexible.
Surgery Waiting Room Duties
  • Liaison between surgery staff and family and friends of the patient
  • Assists and offers information about locations and services available in medical center
  • Provides comfort and makes coffee for the waiting family
  • Provides pagers for the family members while the patient is in surgery
