“COPERS” SUPPORT GROUP
“Copers” support group meets the second Thursday of each month from 6- 8 pm at Community Healthlink. “Copers” is a self-help cancer support group formed for people with cancer, their family and their friends. We welcome cancer patients, support persons, family members or anyone who has been touched by cancer to join our group. “Copers” has an interest in trying to help people cope with cancer by sharing experiences, ideas, information and hope. A newsletter is published monthly to keep members aware of upcoming events.

Breast Cancer Support Group meets the 3rd Tuesday of every month at 6 pm at Community Healthlink located at 1205 Clark Street in Cambridge. CANCER SURVIVORS DAY CELEBRATION
Each year in June, Southeastern Med in cooperation with Cambridge Regional Cancer Center, Guernsey County Cancer Society, and the American Cancer Society, Guernsey County Unit sponsor a “Celebration of Life”. Cancer Survivors Day is held the first Sunday in June and provides a time to pause and celebrate the lives of all people around the world who are living with a history of cancer. A “survivor” is anyone living with a history of cancer – from the moment of diagnosis through the remainder of life.
