Physicals


Pre-Hire
Examination performed prior to employment. Thus exam enables the physician to clear the individual for employment.

Annual
State mandated exams. These exams are usually performed on individuals working in special areas.

DOT (Department of Transportation)
Performed on individuals who work for the Department of Transportation. Exam and certification performed prior to working and every two years thereafter. These exams are performed on individuals who operate commercial motor vehicles (large trucks or passenger-carrying vehicles) to comply with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.

T-8 Physicals
Performed on individuals who work for the Ohio Department of Education and drive a school bus or van.

OSHA Screening & Surveillance Exams

Respiratory Clearance
Performed to ensure individual is able to wear a respirator while working.

Lead, Asbestos, Cadium, Copper
Performed to ensure individuals are protected from hazardous materials.

Police and Fire
Performed on individuals who will be working in the police and fire industry.

Comprehensive
An extensive exam performed on an individual who is working in a rigorous field.
This exam requires blood work, urinalysis, x-ray and pulmonary function test and/or audiology.

Executive
A highly comprehensive exam performed on executives of corporate industries.
This exam requires colonoscopy, urinalysis, x-ray, EKG, blood work, stress test
and pulmonary function testing.
