About

Dr. Huff is a fellowship trained and certified Sports Medicine Physician who maintains board certification in Family Medicine. Dr. Huff is also an FAA designated Aviation Medical Examiner (AME). With Cambridge Municipal Airport (KCDI) within walking distance from the office (half mile), pilots are welcome to drive in or fly in for medical exams.

Dr. Huff can treat bone, joint, or muscle injuries the same day through the Orthopedic Injury Clinic.

He specializes in the non-operative and/or minimally invasive surgical treatment of disorders affecting bones, joints, muscles, and tendons, including, but not limited to:

  • Fractures
  • Arthritis
  • Sprains and strains
  • Chronic tendon pain
  • Acute Injuries
  • Lacerations
  • Work Injuries

Dr. Huff offers a full spectrum of non-operative orthopedic care for both acute and chronic orthopedic conditions.

Dr. Huff provides alternative options including ortho-biological treatments such as Hyaluronate, Platelet Rich Plasma and Prolotherapy, and has experience with Collagenase injection treatment, a non-operative solution for Dupuytren’s contracture.

Dr. Huff has extensive training in the use of ultrasound imaging and uses in-office ultrasound as a diagnostic aid and for guided injection treatments which minimizes procedure pain and ensures precise placement of medication.

Dr. Huff also offers minimally invasive surgical treatment using the Tenjet system for chronic tendon pain conditions including, but not limited to:

  • Tennis/golfer’s elbow
  • Plantar fasciitis
  • Rotator cuff pain
  • Jumpers knee
  • Chronic trochanteric hip pain

Dr. Huff serves as medical director for physical therapy and rehabilitation at Southeastern Med and acts as team physician for several local high schools, in addition to treating athletes from all area schools throughout the region.

Dr. Huff is a medical graduate of Ohio University. He completed his primary residency at University Hospitals in Cleveland, Ohio. Following residency, Dr. Huff completed Sports Medicine fellowship training in the Cleveland Clinic Health System.

Dr. Huff enjoys many hobbies including spending time with his wife and children, fishing, hunting, classic cars, and is an aviation enthusiast.
